Publication on GVL in the journal "Green Chemistry

SKH GmbH is engaged in the use of environmentally friendly and non-toxic solvents from sustainable raw materials. One example is gammavalerolactone (GVL), which was studied in detail at the University of Regensburg in close cooperation with SKH GmbH (see link to publication).

A production plant for the manufacture of this extremely promising sugar-based solvent is currently being built by the company Glaconchemie in Germany. It is planned to market this solvent for a wide variety of large-scale processes and products in close cooperation with SKH GmbH.
