Residue-free energy-efficient overall manufacturing processes of natural products

Research project to bring energy- and resource-efficient production technologies for different sectors and at different scales to technical industrialisation maturity.

Together with the Clausthal University of Technology and two companies in the field of high-purity biosubstance production and the development of freeze-drying systems, we are holistically investigating the overall production processes of natural products. The aim of this project is to evaluate the synergy potential of process steps in order to achieve an increase in efficiency and energy in the production of plant extracts. To this end, continuous production techniques are combined with online/inline measurement techniques and smart sensors.
