Use of NADES as extraction medium and alternative solvent

Research was performed on behalf of a fragrance and flavour company on the use of NADES (Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents) for the extraction of aromatic plants and for use as solubilisers

NADES are low-melting mixtures of natural substances. The mixtures have new properties that can differ considerably from those of the individual substances. Accordingly, there are numerous possibilities for their use.

NADES are completely harmless and environmentally compatible.
